Q 10) Does awareness need organizing?

Awareness, in simple words, means knowing what is happening. It gives the ability to notice things inside oneself and outside as well. Right now I am writing on a laptop, sitting on a chair, and also feeling a little hungry. This knowing is called awareness.

Now the question is: “Does awareness need organizing?”

No, it doesn’t need any special organizing. It happens instantly and automatically, like breathing or the heartbeat happens automatically. It is naturally present and doesn’t need to be arranged, managed, or controlled like other things.

·       When I wake up in the morning, I see the sunlight from the window and hear the sound of birds. Now, does this awareness happen because I organized or managed my awareness? No, this happens naturally.

·       I was walking outside and saw people walking, cars passing, the sound of vehicle horns, felt the wind on my face, and felt the touch of the ground. All these experiences appeared in my awareness. I didn’t have to organize or arrange awareness before experiencing these happenings. Seeing, hearing, and feeling all happened automatically.

·       When I eat food, I taste whether it is salty or spicy, I smell it, and I feel whether it is hot or cold. I didn’t plan the organizing of awareness before the event happened. It again happened instantly and automatically.

·       Sometimes when I am sitting silently inside the home, I suddenly hear sounds like a door closing, children shouting, dogs barking, or a car honking. I become aware of them instantly. I didn’t have to arrange my awareness before hearing these sounds.

·       There are certain things that need organizing, for example an office bag or a school bag. We must organize where to keep the laptop, books, notebooks, pens, money, mobile, etc. Without organizing, these things become messy. Awareness does not need to be organized; it happens instantly without any effort.

·       Sometimes even thoughts need to be organized. Right now I am writing this answer, and here I am organizing my thoughts or ideas. But awareness is not like things such as a room, a school bag, or thoughts. It is simply the ability to know what is happening.

·       Awareness is like a light or lamp that shines on everything such as tables, chairs, books, clothes, etc. Awareness doesn’t need to manage anything. It shines on everything instantly. Every experience we go through appears naturally in awareness. It simply reveals what is happening.

Q 12) Is organization distortion, or simply movement?

When we hear the words awareness and organization , the first thought that may come to our mind is this: if awareness is natural and spontaneous, then why do we sometimes feel that it has become organized? And if organization happens within awareness, is it a distortion or a natural movement? Awareness is simply noticing our own experiences. Right now, as I am writing this article, I am sitting at a table on a chair, working on a laptop, and thinking about how to explain this question in simple words. I know all these moment-to-moment events. This knowing is awareness. People often get too attracted to this word and feel that it is something mystical or special. But actually, it is something we experience all the time. A student may be sitting in a class, learning from the teacher, writing notes with his pen, and he might also feel sleepy. Simply knowing all these experiences is nothing but awareness. Some kind of organization happens naturally within awareness. We can...

Q 11) Does organization happen within awareness itself?

When I reflect on this question, I feel like answering it through the moment-to-moment experiences of the last two days. The organization within awareness happens naturally when I observe my daily activities. Yesterday, when I was teaching my student, he was asking many questions. He was writing what I was telling him, and I was engaged with the content of the topic I was teaching. I was also taking help from different tools for teaching. Many things were happening together, and everything was happening in my awareness. I never had to consciously organize everything. With clarity of mind and just being aware of everything, the organization of all these micro events happened automatically. Everything happened in order by itself. The situation was getting organized by itself. I did not have to make any special effort for it. Another example is from yesterday when I was working on my laptop. One part of me was typing on the laptop, another part was feeling hungry, and one part of me...
